What percent of American Drivers cannot drive a Manual Transmission car?

Title is pretty self explanatory, but I’m doing a paper and need some stats. It would be nice to have a source as well, but a ball park guess would do for now.

Can anyone help me find for theVW Golf 2001 the automatic transmission computer #01M927733JD ?

I´ve been searching through the web for the automatic transmission computer for my VW Golf 2001 with no positive results.

Where do I add transmission fluid in my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT?

I know where the dipstick is, but can’t find the resevoir to add the fluid when it’s low. The car has been having a bit of trouble shifting – do I just need to add fluid or take it in for a transmission flush? If it’s only a fluid issue, how much can the car hold?

Does my 2003 Hyundai Accent need a transmission teardown?

So my 2003 Hyundai Accent had a check engine light and the code came up as cylinder misfire via jiffy-lube. Has new spark plugs so I replaced the wires and light went off, for a day. When light came on again I took it to a repair shop and it was diagnosed as code p0713, replace oil temperature sensor, an I was recommend to a transmission specialist. When I took it to Aamco to have the sensor changed and my now due transmission service they found metal shavings and wanted to take apart the transmission to see what component was coming apart. Then I took it back to the dealer since it is still under warranty and they said everything was fine, light was only from misfire. Car has 91,000+, idles rough and hesitated when switching low gears especially when first started and the transmission last serviced at 60,000. Who should I believe?
Why would I go to the dealer and pay more for oil changes and basic maintance? The sensor would not have been covered under my warrenty, I checked.
